The Spanish exploration

After Thordesillas agreement in 1942, Christopher Columbus applied for assistance to the king of Spain to sail to find the source of spices in the east. Demand was met by providing three ships called the Pinta, Nina, and Maria and their 88 sailors to Columbus. When Columbus arrived in the Bahamas, he felt he had reached the Indies archipelago which is the source of spices. Although the islands were not found in the spices. Furthermore, the Bahamas Islands better known as the West Indies by Europeans. Ever since Columbus discovered these islands, then the next sailor to sail only in this archipelago as:
1.  Cortez took Mexico in the year 1519 with the Indian tribes that conquered the Aztec Empire and Maya in the Yucatan.
2. Pizzaro, in the year 1530 conquered Peru's Indian empire called the Inca Empire.

All areas captured and conquered by the explorers was made of the Spanish colony.

Then exploration of the Spanish followed by Ferdinand Magellan. He was a sailor of the Spanish learning experience that many of Columbus voyage to America. Columbus's voyage of Magellan to say that the Indian territory can only be found by the end of the American South. In 1519, a group of Magellan in the name of the king of Spain began his voyage into the Philippines. Magellan establish monuments and stated that the area belonged to the King of Spain.

When the group Magellan arrived in the Philippines, he found the situation tense and chaotic due to competition and conflict between the kingdoms in the Philippines. In that conflict, one of Magellan royal favor and in the war that he had been murdered. The delegation was led by further Magellan ship captain named Sebastian d'Elcano. Sebastian d'Elcano as party leader to continue his voyage to the south and reached the Moluccas in 1521. But in Maluku has been ruling the Portuguese who had arrived since 1512.
